Oakley Dropping Bombs at The 2013 General Tire Mint 400 Presented by Polaris!
Oakley will be awarding Bombs in three new classes, as well as watches to the Unlimited Champion, Limited Champion and Fastest Qualifier.
In 2012, the first ever Oakley Bomb Run Award in Desert Off-Road Racing was given out at the General Tire Mint 400 to the racers clocking the fastest lap at the The Great American Off-Road Race. This year, Oakley is continuing their support of Desert Racing and The General Tire Mint Mint 400 presented by Polaris by giving Oakley Bomb Run Awards to three new classes!
Drivers in three different classes will take home a heavy duty “bomb” trophy of their own to commemorate their scorching lap time.
The Oakley Bomb Run Award has traditionally been given out to short course off-road racers however Oakley is exciting to allow the Desert drivers a chance to test their mettle and show what they can do over challenging terrain of the 2013 Mint 400 course. Oakley Bomb Run Awards will be presented to the driver and co-driver achieving the fastest lap in the 7200, 2000 and 1000 classes.

The driver and co-driver winning the overall championship in the Unlimited Class will receive the 12 Gauge™ Titanium Special Edition.The Fuse Box edition with a white dial face will go to the driver and co-driver winning the overall championship in the Limited Class.
