K&N Filters Returns to Sponsor The 2018 Mint 400
Come check out the full line of air intake systems at The Mint 400 contingency!
The Mint 400 announced today its extended partnership with K&N Filters for the 2018 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400. K&N will be displaying and vending its thorough line of air filters and air intake systems at the massive Odyssey Battery Mint 400 Tech & Contingency on Fremont St. East on Thursday, March 8th & Friday, March 9th and Saturday, March 10th at the Primm Valley Mint 400 Start/Finish in Primm, NV directly behind Buffalo Bills Casino.
K&N air intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. Some of the biggest names in off-road racing use K&N Filters including Tavo Vildosola, Tracy Graf, Adam Householder and Greg Adler to name a few.
K&N is excited to announce the release of their new Can-Am X3 intake system…it’s a true air intake system! The K&N 63-1141 AirCharger air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in select CAN-AM models. The 63-1141 air intake comes with a K&N high-flow air filter which is protected from the elements with an enclosed filter housing. Air is directed through a custom-molded intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for better low-end torque and guaranteed horsepower. The oversized cone shaped air filter is washable and reusable with over double the filtration surface area for better dust holding capacity over the stock filter.
“Last year, K&N joined us as a sponsor and quickly saw the potential in using The Mint 400 as a way to showcase new products and get them in front of the right people. We had been talking with them about the off-road and UTV market for quite some time,” Mint 400 CEO, Matt Martelli. “We’re thrilled to have them back and to receive their support again in our 50th anniversary year.”
