3 extended-length programs – motorcycle, limited and unlimited races to be released

Relive the 2020 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400!  The Mint 400 television show airs on ESPN2 network as part of the World of X Games Sunday, June 28th at 8am PST / 11am ET!  Watch the world’s top off-road racers, including 2020 Overall Champion Luke McMillin, Bryce Menzies and Ryan Arciero, wage war during one of the most grueling and challenging races of the year.

In 2020, over five hundred race teams in car/truck, motorcycle and youth classes made the annual pilgrimage to Las Vegas to battle each other and the unforgiving Nevada desert. Directed by The Martelli Brothers and produced by Mad Media & Lonnie Peralta, this thrilling documentary showcases the grueling and exciting world of desert off-road racing through The Great American Off-Road Race.

“The Mint 400 stands apart as the ultimate battleground for desert off-road racing – and this year marks our 10th year of uninterrupted national television coverage.  We produce a one-hour made-for-TV special in addition to over 24 hours of live coverage each year, making The Mint 400 the most documented race in off-road racing.  We’re thrilled to be showcasing the sport and our racers on ESPN2’s World of X Games. In the coming weeks we’ll also be publishing three stand-alone extended programs for the motorcycles, limited and unlimited races,” commented Mint 400 CEO, Matt Martelli. “That’s more coverage than most series have in an entire season, all thanks to BFGoodrich and our growing list of broadcast partners.”

The World of X Games show will immediately re-air via Facebook and YouTube live stream Monday night 6pm PST / 9pm ET and the extended three-show schedule for the motorcycle, limit and unlimited films will be released in the coming month.

About The Mint 400

Known as “The Great American Off-Road Race™,” The Mint 400 is the most celebrated, prestigious, and challenging off-road race on the planet. This annual four-hundred mile marathon between the top off-road racers in the world includes over four hundred and fifty race teams in twenty-four different classes of off-road vehicles. Established in 1968, The Mint 400 is steeped in American lore. Thousands of racers and celebrities from around the world have attempted to tame the brutal Nevada desert, but less than half of them have ever finished the Mint. An entire week of events lead up to the famed off-road contest in and around Las Vegas, including a vehicle parade down the Las Vegas Strip, a drivers meet and greet, a pit crew challenge contest, the Miss Mint 400 beauty pageant, massive parties, a qualifying race, and a huge ten-block “contingency” gathering on Fremont Street East. Over forty-thousand spectators gather to watch the world’s best off-road race teams do battle at The Mint 400!
