350 Race Vehicles Rolled Down Fremont Street For The Mint 400

The calm before the storm was the name of the game today as racers and teams rolled down Fremont Street during contingency. Streets were shut down for blocks to make room for the many vendors who came here to help support all 350 racers who are getting ready to battle the elements tomorrow.

Thousands of fans and tourists lined the streets to help celebrate this legendary race and help connect the passion we all have for this sport. Its this passion that helps grow desert racing and bring it to the masses.

The excitement of today leads into a full day of racing tomorrow, where racers will battle the elements to try and become a Mint 400 Champion.

One exciting moment from the day was off-road racing legend Larry Roeseler got married up on the Mint stage to girlfriend Karla. We wish them all the best!
