Military Challenge

The Mint 400 Military Challenge

100% of all donations go directly to the foundations.

The Great American Off-Road Race™ is pleased to announce the launch of The 2020 Mint 400 Military Challenge, with the goal of raising awareness and financial support for military veterans and highlight the military’s ongoing involvement in off-road culture.  All five branches of the United States military have their own off-road race vehicle with active duty military and veterans racing for their specific charity that focuses on the needs of its active duty members and veterans alike.

The idea is to create a public facing “race-a-thon” where companies and the general public can donate to the branch of their choice for every one mile completed, creating a competition that people can actively participate in even if they are not at the race. All active duty and veterans are encouraged to get behind their branch team and participate by sharing info or donating monetarily.

Any race teams with active duty service members or veterans are invited to be a part of the Military Challenge and race teams that participate in the Military Challenge will be competing to raise the most money for the foundation of their choice or one of the current charities – The Marine Raider Foundation, the SEAL Family Foundation, the Special Forces Foundation, the Pararescue Foundation or Warfighter Made.

Are you a brand, business or individual looking to donate to the challenge?

There are two ways that the general public and companies can support the Military Challenge. Either sponsoring a race team that is competing in the challenge with a flat or per-mile donation OR by making a donation directly through the Military Challenge to one of the foundations selected for the event.

The Mint 400 Military Challenge is supported by Zero One Off-Road, who will be fielding all the vehicles, and Oak Grove Technologies, who has already committed $20,000 in financial support. Companies looking to get involved can sponsor a car, actually come out and race with the team of their choice or simply donate to one of the foundations or race teams involved including:
