Thursday, March 10, 2022

The Motorcycle Racing Association of Nevada (MRAN) will return as the Official Motorcycle Operations Partner of the 2022 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400, event officials announced today. MRAN officials will be on hand at the Great American Off-Road Race providing crucial operations and rider support as they do for dozens of year-round motorcycle events throughout Nevada.

“Each year, the Motorcycle Racing Association of Nevada organizes dozens of events across the state of Nevada, and its expertise and support of the Mint 400 are a crucial part of bringing motorcycles back to the Great American Off-Road Race,” said Mint 400 CEO Matt Martelli. “We’re appreciative of their continued organizational and administrative support of the event, as we look to bring our motorcycle racers the best possible race experience. If you’re a racer, be sure to join and support the MRAN in their mission to better the sport!”

Motorcycle Racing Association of Nevada is a volunteer based racing association that hosts 10 to 20 different races across three different series offering something for everyone. The Desert Series races are not shorter than 60 miles in total distance, Grand Prix’s work with local tracks and neighboring states, and the Night Series where races are limited by time or the first to complete a number of laps after dark.

No matter how young or how old, how fast or how slow, we’re all about spending quality time with family and having fun and bettering the sport of motorcycle racing and keeping our lands open to riding. MRAN offers novice, amateur, expert, and an AA premier class, divided into Open, 2-stroke, Lites, Over 30, Over 40, Over 50, 55, 60, 70 and Women’s divisions and for the kids there is 85cc, 65cc, 50cc, JR women. The Mint 400 has held the title of the toughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America since 1968 when it was first run. Initially, the race was a public relations event promoting the Mint Hotel’s annual deer hunt, but what started out as a hotel promotion soon grew into a legitimate desert race. Since its 2008 revival, “The Great American Off-Road Race” has only gotten bigger and more prestigious, and deeper fields every year only make it tougher to win.

This year’s BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 will take place from March 9-13 in Las Vegas. More information on the event for racers and spectators is available at TheMint400.com, or follow the event on Facebook and Instagram.
