The Mint 400 announced today its preliminary Schedule of Events for the 2021 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400, returning to Las Vegas, NV Wednesday, December 1st through Sunday, December 5th, 2021. The week of festivities will culminate with two days of thrilling off-road racing on Friday, December 3rd and Saturday, December 4th, with pre-race events beginning earlier that week.

All marquee festivities have been preserved, including the racer favorite Mint 400 Vehicle Parade down the Las Vegas Strip on Wednesday, December 1st. The historic Mint 400 Off-Road Festival Tech and Contingency on Fremont Street will be one day this year and take place on Thursday, December 2nd. Qualifying for select classes has moved to Friday, December 3rd, after the Limited Race officially kicks off the racing action at 9am. All motorcycle classes and the Unlimited Car/Truck classes will race on Saturday, December 4th. More details regarding the revamped Schedule of Events will be released in the coming months.

“We are very excited to see the impact our new Schedule of Events has on the racers, exhibitors and race fans coming to The Mint 400,” commented Mint 400 Event Director, Kilian Hamlin. “All the events happening on Thursday will focus on Fremont Street and all of the events happening on Friday and Saturday will focus on the race site. This will alleviate a lot of the logistical challenges of this massive event, as well as add to the spectator experience at the Official Mint 400 Start/Finish Line.”

Just left the contingency on Freemont st. And it was the worst!!!!!!!! It could be the current schedule and they just want it over, I get it but I can tell you if this how the mint is going to be from now on I won’t be attending after attending every race since 1968.
