Mint 400 Timing & Scoring Transponders
Timing & Scoring Transponders are mandatory for all classes. Transponders are rentals and must be return to post race tech.
How to Get Your Transponder: Your transponder unit will be assigned at onsite registration and will come with two heavy duty zip ties. You are responsible for mounting your transponder to your vehicle prior to your vehicle arriving at Technical Inspection. Details on how to properly mount your transponders will be provided to you at onsite registration. Our staff will be at Technical Inspection, to verify you have mounted your transponder in the correct position.
Rental Cost: Your Timing & Scoring Transponder is part of your entry fee.
Transponder Return: Post Race Technical Inspection by the main stage. Our staff will do our best to remove your units at the finish line, but it is still your responsibility to make sure the unit is returned. If you do not finish the race, please return the units to Post Race Technical Inspection in Primm, NV.

We have two remote timing gates placed in the Gene Hirst Pit and the Gonzo Pit. This creates three sectors for the Car/Trucks and two sectors for the motorcycles.
Start Line —> Gene Hirst Pit
Gene Hirst Pit —> Gonzo Pit
Gonzo Pit —> Finish Line
This gives you real corrected time scoring updates when you pass over each gate.
Security Deposit & Return
Rather than have you fill out more registrations/paperwork, on Monday, March 6th we will apply a $200 hold to your stored payment method on your Off-Road Racer Profile. This is not a charge, simply a hold to make sure you return your transponder after your race.
Onsite Transponder Return – 100% of this deposit will be refunded when you return your transponder to Post Race Technical Inspection by the main stage in Primm, NV.
If you do not return your transponder to the Awards Ceremony in Primm by 9am, this hold will turn into a charge. If you are unable to return your tracker onsite, the return shipping address for transponders is:
