Vegas Off-Road Tours Returns to 2022 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 in Support of Military Challenge
Vegas Off-Road Tours will return to the 2022 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 as a supporting sponsor of the Military Challenge, Mint 400 officials announced today. As part of the sponsorship, Vegas Off-Road Tours will continue to offer free pit support for all teams taking part in the Military Challenge, a public-facing fundraiser where teams compete to raise the most money for charities that support active and retired United States military members.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Vegas Off-Road Tours back into the Mint 400 sponsor family, and we’re grateful that they chose to support our Military Challenge,” said Mint 400 CEO Matt Martelli. “The Military Challenge is one of the most special parts of our event every year, as our competitors show military members and their families that we’ve got their back through our fundraising and awareness efforts. With Vegas Off-Road Tours having these teams’ back with free pit support throughout the race, we know our Military Challenge teams are going to feel that same level of support.”

The Mint 400 Military Challenge is one of the most unique competitions in all off-road racing. The inaugural edition of the Military Challenge in 2020 saw 16 teams take part, with nearly $175,000 raised over the past two years for 11 foundations, while active and retired members of all five United States military branches have taken part in the event. Team Warfighter Made won last year’s Military Challenge fundraising efforts, with $20,475 raised for the Warfighter Made organization. The Mint 400 has held the title of the toughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America since 1968 when it was first run. Initially, the race was a public relations event promoting the Mint Hotel’s annual deer hunt, but what started out as a hotel promotion soon grew into a legitimate desert race. Since its 2008 revival, “The Great American Off-Road Race” has only gotten bigger and more prestigious, and deeper fields every year only make it tougher to win.
This year’s BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 will take place from March 9-13 in Las Vegas. More information on the event for racers and spectators is available at TheMint400.com, or follow the event on Facebook and Instagram.
